Chalkidiki Wine from Tsantali

The organic red wine from Tsantali is fragrant and reminiscent of red berries (strawberries & blackberries). The taste is charming and fruity. The red wine, made from Limnio and Mediterranean Grenache grapes, is a fine and uncomplicated red wine with a lot of Greek lightness of being. It is also recommended slightly chilled in summer.

About the Chalkidiki growing region:

The peninsula of Chalkidiki lies between the Thermaic and the Strymonian Gulf. To the south are the "three fingers" of Kassandra, Sithonia and the monk region of Athos (you can find wine from Athos in our shop). The climate in Chalkidiki offers ideal conditions for viticulture. Here you will find the OPAP region Cotes de Meliton, where both red and white wines are produced. The main grape varieties grown are Assyrtiko, Athiri, Limnio, Xinomavro and Grenache Rouge.
