This salt-spice mixture is a speciality from Tuscany. The mixture consists of coarse salt soaked in fresh Habanero Red Savina chilli pepper and smoked with olive wood smoke. The spice has a medium pungency and an intense smoky fragrance. This special blend brings a unique taste with a wonderful pungency to various dishes. In the practical spice mill the spice mixture can be optimally dosed. The chillies used are grown in the heart of Tuscany, between Bolgheri and Bibbona, according to organic and biodynamic standards.
This salt-spice mixture is ideal with boiled and fried eggs, fish (especially swordfish, anchovies, sardines, tuna and salmon). At the same time, the mixture is ideal for seasoning meat and cheese.
