The Crema di Melanzane (aubergine pesto/cream) is an organic speciality from Tuscany. Aubergines with olive oil, wine vinegar, grape juice, sea salt and garlic give this pesto a Mediterranean, aromatic taste. All ingredients are from controlled organic farming
This pesto can be used in many ways. It is suitable as a pesto with pasta as well as excellent as a dip or spread on bread (e.g. lightly toast baguette slices on the grill and then spread thinly with the pesto).
Ingredients: Aubergines*, extra virgin olive oil*, wine vinegar*, grape juice*, sea salt*, garlic*.
