Messinia Union - Kalamata" is one of the best known and most traditional brands of extra virgin olive oil on the Greek market. Messinia Union is based on the Union of Historical Agricultural Cooperatives of Messinia (Messinia Union), which is known for producing high quality olive oils. The olive oil is pressed from only one variety of olive - Koroneiki - from the area of Messinia in the Peloponnese, Greece. 

This olive oil is ideal as a salad dressing or to refine stews and sauces. At the same time, this olive oil is excellent with grilled and steamed vegetables.

At the same time, you can taste the care and dedication in the processing. Giuseppe Sarubbi refrains from using flavour enhancers and colourings during the entire production process.

Ingredients: Basil, almonds, extra virgin olive oil, tomato, pecorino cheese, chilli pepper (peperoncino) herbs, salt.

Excellent with pasta or as an "extra" on pizza. The antipasti version: On toasted white bread.

Insider tip: Use as a base for a pasta salad instead of oil and vinegar.

1 jar of Prontosugo alla 'Nduja, 280g

This ready-made tomato sauce with 'Nduja is a speciality from Calabria, Italy. 'Nduja is a very spicy, piquant, soft, Italian raw sausage, which is used in Calabrian cuisine cold as a spread or to refine sauces. The special feature of this sauce is the care and dedication with which it is processed. Giuseppe Sarubbi refrains from using flavour enhancers and colourings during the entire production process. You can taste that.

Ingredients: Tomatoes, Nduja salami (8%), extra virgin olive oil, onions, basil, salt.

This ready-made sauce is ideal as a pasta sauce or as a basic sauce for pizza. Alternatively, the heated sauce can be served on toasted white bread.

1 bottle Aceto Balsamico di Modena I.G.P., Etichetta Gialla, (1.24), 250 ml

The Aceto Balsamico "Etichetta Gialla" matures according to the solera method (like sherry and brandy) for about 8 years in oak barrels. Due to the long maturation, this balsamic vinegar develops an extraordinary aroma, which is reminiscent of a fruity, strong spiciness with a sweet-velvety nuance. The traditional maturation as well as exclusively Italian ingredients lead to this extraordinary taste experience. This Aceto is more than just a vinaigrette base. 

Goes well with meat, matured cheese, strawberries, ice cream, fresh and grilled vegetables.

1 jar of spice mix chilli garlic, aglio "olio" e peperoncino, 60 g

The ingredients for this fine spice blend are grown and processed in Calabria, Italy. The specialities from the producer Guiseppe Sarubbi represent the Mediterranean taste as well as Calabria. This excellent spice blend consists of peperoncino (chilli), garlic, salt and parsley and can be used in many ways in the kitchen. 

Ideally suited for marinades and pasta dishes (e.g. spaghetti aglio e olio - gently heat the spice mixture in olive oil and then mix with the cooked pasta).   

Ingredients: Chilli (75.5%), garlic (14.5%), salt, parsley.
