Kalamata extra virgin olive oil with Protected Designation of Origin is a product of the unique terroir and climatic conditions. Kalamata is a city in Greece and is located on the Peloponnese peninsula in the southwest of the country. It is the capital of the region of Messinia and is known for its olive tree-covered landscapes and the famous Kalamata olives grown in the surrounding area. The cold-pressed (<27°C) olive oil is made from 100% Koroneiki olives.
